Binding the Wounds uses healing rituals of wrapping and binding wounds—the personal harms that leave a mark and what breaks people’s hearts in the world--- gathered from a community. Found fabric in vivid colors evoke memories of shirts my mother made my father: her love made visible. These artworks are made using cast paper, fabric, thread and Joomchi.
